Qonnectis provides a complete range of remote communicating data loggers for electricity and gas metering, combining high frequency and accuracy for half-hourly logging together with sophisticated alerts and comprehensive communication over SMS and GSM.

Qonnectis loggers for electricity
The iStaq can log half-hourly data from the vast majority of single- and poly-phase electricity meters, including both active and reactive power. The unit will fit in both large installations and small domestic chambers. Wall-mountable and simple to install, a single iStaq can connect to multiple meters (including multi-utility) and provide complete remote communications, including high resolution logging and instant alerts for abnormal electricity consumption, outages or tamper detection. The iStaq can also be reconfigured remotely (eg. change logging resolution or call-in frequency) and permits on-demand meter reading when under mains power. The iStaq is a powerful solution for electricity network and site management, usage profiling, and energy efficiency.

Qonnectis loggers for gas
The iStaq brings full remote connectivity to gas meters of practically all types. With its 10-year battery life, small size, and optional intrinsically safe barrier, the unit can be used on all sites and provide reliable gas consumption and related data (eg. temperature, pressure) via GSM/SMS text message or other networks. Half-hourly or configurable data logging together with frequent communications mean you are always in touch with what is going on. The intelligent alarms capability means that any exceptional occurrences are immediately communicated to central or onsite staff via text message or email. iStaq gas installations therefore provide all the data required to intelligently manage gas networks, remote sites and processes, profile usage, and energy efficiency.

Qonnectis loggers for water
The iStaq has been designed to operate in the harsh environment of remote water metering and flow measurement. The small size, 10-year battery life, IP68 enclosure and tailored antenna enable the device to operate efficiently over GSM networks from inside meter chambers below ground level. Meter connectivity covers the full range of pulse meters, plus other electronic meters. The 15-minute logging capability (configurable) enable high accuracy data to be collected to provide a powerful solution for water network monitoring, leakage control, water efficiency, and process improvement. Intelligent alarms will tell you directly when pipe bursts or leaks are detected, or when consumption is outside of programmed parameters. The multi-channel capability means that multiple meters and/or sensors can be connected within a single chamber.

Logger variants:

iStaq-LG: Targeted at applications for energy and water efficiency, the iStaq-LG has the capacity for meter data logging typically at 30-minute for energy utility clients and 15-minute for water, or down to one minute periods. Transmission of data takes place as required, usually on a daily basis. Communications can be over the GSM or CDMA mobile networks using SMS or data calls, or by PSTN telephone links. Like all iStaq devices, the iStaq-LG includes a sophisticated alerts system, leading to SMS and email alerts for events such as leakage, no flow, and high and low thresholds.
