QONNECTIS NETWORK
Qonnectis provides an integrated, seamless end-to-end infrastructure and remote meter communications devices. Qonnectis iStaq data loggers and remote meter reading devices send their data globally using GSM and telephone networks and the Internet to secure Qonnectis Qanasta Data Servers. This means global connectivity at minimum cost.


Infrastructure Software & Services
Qonnectis iStaq data logger data is collected at the central data center. This is transparent to users, who simply access the data via myMeter web sites.

Qonnectis operates the data centre as a data collection service to its customers – meaning that customers can quite simply “plug and play” an iStaq logger onto a meter and be getting data via their PC and web browser within minutes. Qonnectis takes care of all the complication of operating and installing sophisticated data collection server software and infrastructure.

The Qonnectis Qanasta Server Suite includes central data collection software and systems. These are typically operated from Qonnectis’ Global Data Centre near London’s Heathrow airport. Local meter communications are handled using in-country Qanasta Gateways.

Qanasta Gateway: Located in each country, local GSM/CDMA messages via SMS or data calls, or via telephone, are made and collected. This is a full two-way meter communications system. Qanasta Gateways then securely route data via the Internet to the central data centre.

Qanasta Communications Server: This server manages remote devices and gateway communications, messaging and data routing.

Qanasta Database Server for Oracle: A full multi-utility industrial-strength database has been architected and built by Qonnectis to allow complete data collection, storage and archiving. Using industry-standard protocols such as SQL it is possible for secure data extraction and querying.

Qanasta Web Server: A web data presentation engine, the central web server provides the graphical and web engine for the myMeter front end.
